As an Intake and Registration Representative, you will be an integral part of a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. **What you’ll be doing**:

- Front Desk duties
- Input referral information into patient care system
- Contact patients to verify and input patient information to the patient care system
- Update and verify all information on patient care system as necessary
- Input admission/discharges/transfers as necessary
- Ensure all information is accurate
- Contact referral sources for additional information, as indicated
- Contact patients to offer admission
- Review pre-admission requirements and hospital rules and regulations
- Input pre-admission information into the patient care system

**What we’re looking for**:

- Health Office Administration Certificate or Diploma
- 1 year prior experience in a medical office or health record experience preferred
- Highly detail oriented self-starter
- Knowledge of basic office practices - filing, sorting, scanning
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of the use/maintenance of office equipment such as computer, printers, telephones, fax machines, and photocopiers

**Education**: Preferred
- Bachelors or better in Psychology or related field
- Bachelors or better in Health Studies or related field

**Skills**: Required
- Business Acumen - Communication

- Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
