**Position Objective**:
Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating with the management team of the Porsche Experience Centre Toronto (PEC) in order to support the events and marketing efforts of the PEC. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of events on a corporate and internal basis within the PEC, as well as the marketing of the facility to corporate and retail experience clients.

The Porsche Experience Center (PEC) is a brand immersion destination for automobile enthusiasts. It offers the ability for guests of all ages to take in the heritage of the brand, experience the Porsche lifestyle and the thrill of the drive, allowing Porsche to build connections with people from all walks of life. Guests visit the PEC primarily to engage in driving experiences behind the wheel of a Porsche vehicle on a purpose-built driver development track.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Delivery of an exceptional level of service to internal and external customer, business partners, and external suppliers, in line with the Porsche company values
- Development, planning and delivery of corporate/group business for Porsche within the PEC facility, including acquisition, event formats, follow up, and post-event reporting
- Management of all event systems and procedures, ensuring timelines are set for each event and best practices are developed
- Ensuring client contracts are delivered as per terms, including management of payments
- Ensuring all event systems are fully operational and being familiar with user guidelines for all AV equipment
- Organizing and attending meetings with external suppliers who have joint event responsibility, ensuring event timeline milestones are monitored and met
- Maintenance of PEC social media plan.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
**Prior to PEC Opening**:

- Lead the RFP processes for onboarding event vendors for the PEC Toronto
- Establish event procedures for PEC Toronto
- Recruit and hire team members

**Once PEC is Open**:

- Full logistics and delivery of group events, from initial proposal through to delivery and feedback for continuous improvement
- Management of all related supplier costs and venue relationships
- Management of Events & Customer Experience teams
- Preparation and amendment of new business client proposals, both external and internal, working within budgets, and to the Porsche Experience Centre rate card
- Timely production of working documents for each, distributing internally and ensuring accuracy and understanding from each stakeholder
- Regular liaison with Operations Manager to update the Porsche Experience Centre calendar and booking systems, detailing provisional, and confirmed events
- Ensure compliant events operation in the context of health & safety, including production and monitoring of risk assessments and liaison with PCL team
- Development and maintenance of the PEC marketing plan in conjunction with the Porsche Experience Centre Manager
- Management of PEC marketing communications in collaboration with Porsche Cars Canada marketing communications team.

**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent

**Experience (Job and Industry)**:

- 5+ years experience in events and marketing, automotive or similar dealer-based experience an advantage
- Experience event planning and operations, automotive event experience an advantage
- Experience delivering premium customer experiences
- Experience in F&B or hospitality sales and operations an advantage

**Skills**:

- Excellent people management skills
- Excellent project and budget management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work conceptually and strategically, autonomously constructing and delivering strategically sound, intuitive presentations
- Detail-oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong team player
- English required, French preferred, German a plus
