IAG is seeking an enthusiastic, confident, positive, self-motivated team member who is looking to embark on an exciting career at Formula Ford as an Assistant Sales Manager.

We are looking for an individual who is reliable, honest, organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong desire to succeed.

**Job Duties**:

- Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, this position is responsible for the efficient and profitable planning, organization, direction and control of the Sales Department, including staffing, forecasting, attaining projected sales objectives and bottom line results
- Assist with dealer trades for new car vehicles and assist in vehicle sales as a consultant when needed
- Oversee internet leads and follow up with sales staff when they are handed a lead
- Act as backup Financial services Manager when they are not present
- Responsible to achieve sales targets by coaching the sales team to success
- Coordinate the appropriate supply of vehicles and ordering/acquiring vehicle inventory accordingly.
- Work directly with the Sales Manager and General Manager on making recommendations on both short and long-range advertising plans, sales promotions, staffing needs and compensation plans
- Assist in developing and training Sales Consultants to plan and implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits
- Responsible for ensuring and increasing profitability in automotive sales department and for customer retention and speak to every customer before they leave the showroom

Other duties as may be assigned
- Completion of University Degree or College Diploma in Business Management or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and management in a dealership environment
- Valid OMVIC license
- Experience with CDK or Reynolds is required
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, negotiation skills and strong selling skills
- Excellent people management skills, demonstrating an ability to organize the work, deliver excellent customer service, commanding the respect of the team while remaining well linked and effective.Organizational ability and attention to detail
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and to take ownership of problems with a positive attitude and bring them to completion
- Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure with the ability to diffuse tense situations
- Strong problem solving skills & strong sense of personal responsibility and reliability, with the desire to work as an integral member of a team Computer skills - Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
