Wakefield Canada Inc. has an opportunity for a SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST. Monday to Friday on site at our Edmonton warehouse facility.
**In this role, you will**:
- Support the day-to-day operations for the Western Region.
- Release Sales Orders (SO's) to the warehouse for picking.
- Reserving SO's that didn't reserve at Order Creation due to lack of inventory.
- Provide support in Sales Order management in the region.
- Provide support to Vancouver, Calgary & Winnipeg as well as Edmonton.
- Participate in warehouse control and inventory cycle counting.
- Coordinate logistics with third party carriers across the Western Region.
- Provide support and back up as needed in warehouse and to Distribution & WMS Supervisor.
- Perform a variety of administrative and office support functions.
- Support and promote adherence to all Wakefield policies and procedures.

- High School Diploma required, with post-secondary diploma
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supply chain support role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- General knowledge of supply chain concepts
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software and technology. Strong Microsoft office skills with intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience working with an ERP or WMS would be an asset
- Flexibility to work according to operational requirements such as vacations, absences, and fluctuating work volumes.
