Guardium Security is hiring a **Full Time Security Supervisor** in **Edmonton, Alberta.**

**Shift timing is between 8pm-8am. Must be available during this time.**
- Starting Pay rate: $19. 00/hr.
- Must have 1 year of supervisor experience.
- Must have 1 year of mobile experience.
- Class 5 Drivers License
- 1-year minimum insurance history
- PPCT or CTSS required.
- First aid Level C
- Security License

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintaining safe and secure environment for customers and employees
- Coach and develop guard staff.
- Complete projects relate to sites and health and safety.
- Attend monthly meetings.
- Design run sheets
- Conduct site assessments
- Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures.
- Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents.
- Defuse potentially volatile situations and intervene when necessary.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy.
- Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed.
- Providing great customer service to clients, tenants, and patrons
- Ability to respond well to emergency situations.
- Ability to work without close supervision.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner.
- As a condition of employment, employees must successfully complete a background check.
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology at client specific sites.
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms.
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (preferred)
