This is a role for skilled customer service professionals who have an exceptional attitude, the desire to solve problems, and the ability to empathize with others. Every day is different with XA Security Your role as a Security Guard can vary greatly, but your overall duties relate back to one concept - we keep people safe This could mean verifying vaccination status, conducting searches and bag checks, or just providing an overall security presence so that attendees know who to find if they need anything. You love leading a diverse team with people from all walks of life - A real interest in safety and customer service. - A high comfort level working in unique and evolving situations where your skills will be constantly challenged. - Be able to make quick decisions, solve problems, resolve conflict and de-escalate situations that arise. - The desire to make $22.00 a hour as a supervisor, to start, and have a flexible schedule that works well with other commitments - Evening and weekend availability. **Duties Include**: - Collecting required equipment for each show. - Briefing and deploying security guards to position in a timely manner. - Monitoring guard performance throughout the course of the evening. - Completing and submitting time sheets to finance for payroll and invoice purposes. - Liaising with clients, emergency service personnel and/or inspectors on site in order to deliver the necessary service level. - Completing show reports at the end of each shift and ensuring that staff have completed all necessary paperwork as well. **Position Requirements**: This Security Supervisor role requires: - ** Valid Alberta Security License** _(we'll walk you through the licensing process)_ - ** Valid ProServe and ProTect certifications** _(easily attainable online)_ - ** Valid Standard First Aid & CPR C certification**: - Previous experience in a supervisory role. **Think you'd be a good fit?
