Event and Catering Coordinator

The position will be responsible for various office coordination along with event planning as well social media.

**Social Media** - maintain and regularly post on various social media channel, website update and edition including online ordering platforms. Creating promotional graphic design, flyer etc.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the General Manager
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
- Works directly with clients, wedding planners, and meeting planners gathering necessary information for menu planning, floor plan, room set up, timelines, rental orders, décor, cost and billing details and any other requirements pertinent to their event in a timely manner and assist with those items as necessary.
- Input all events into Caterease and distribute event orders to kitchen, banquet and driver team.
- Reviews and approves all group banquet checks for the final BEO calculations and final payment.
- Record and submit hours for payroll for banquet, kitchen & office staff.
- Social media response and posting
- Accounting data entries
- Creating and designing flayer and marketing documents.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders for supplies.

Job Requirements
- Exceptional detail in follow-up.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and skills.
- Ability to focus attention on details. Must be extremely detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Must have a working knowledge of accounting, catering, and social media.
- Must have worked in F&B operations
- Must be able to work weekday, weekends, and evenings.

Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- 1-2 years of F&B operations/ administrative experience
- Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat, catering, and accounting system.**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
