**OVERVIEW**

**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinate the preparation of all hot and cold foods
- Prepare dishes for service ranging from small, medium, and large functions
- Demonstrate recipe knowledge
- Maintain the establishment’s high standards in food quality and consistency in preparation and presentation
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients to minimize waste
- Demonstrate personal ownership of tasks
- Work well within a team environment and motivate other staff to sustain an exceptional level of performance
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the establishment and the equipment
- Committed to providing a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards

**KEY QUALIFICATIONS**
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team
- Responsible and punctual
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, as well as standing for long periods of time
- Must have a reliable method of getting to and from work; city transit does not reach our establishment

**Required education**:High School or equivalent

**Required experience**:1 year in a similar role

**Other special considerations**:Food Handler Certificate considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
