E-commerce Manager

**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Managing all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, reporting, and giving suggestions based on your analysis.
- Designing and implementing an online shopping journey in order to improve website performance.
- Working with developers to improve website speed and performance when necessary. In doing so, you are responsible to find the third-party developers and plan budgeting to achieve the result.
- Working with the salesperson and/or CEO in order to fulfill orders and ensure that they are on track so that customers are satisfied throughout the shopping journey.
- Stay abreast of new trends and technology in order to improve website performance and optimize our digital assets.
- Creating texts, images, and videos to feed our promotional content inventory.
- Tools we use for this role: Shopify and its complimentary apps, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Instagram, Facebook, and your preferred graphic and video editing tools.

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience of supervising tech teams for website optimization is an asset.
- Experience designing and overseeing digital marketing strategies
- Excellent understanding of web design and web analysis
- Understanding and experience in designing UI and UX for retailing.
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as Google Ads, and Facebook Ads, and organic content marketing such as Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube.
- Knowledge of basic website speed optimization, traffic analysis and reporting tools
- Strong organization skills to manage thousands of items listed on our website.
- Degree level in Digital Marketing, Commerce, or any related field
- Interest in retail and/or kitchenware & equipment
- Languages: English (required). French is considered an asset.

- Basic to intermediate knowledge and experience in Google Drive (Google Sheet, Doc, Slides etc) and/or Microsoft (Excel, Word, PPT etc).

**Salary**: Starting at $15.00 hourly. Based on your performance, there is a possibility for a raise and commission pay.

**Schedule**:

- Around 5 hours/ day, Monday to Friday (to be discussed during the interview)

**Minimum Required Experience**:

- Entry to intermediate experience in E-commerce Merchandising and Digital Marketing.
- Shopify: Recent 2 years. 90% of your task will be on Shopify. You must have a thorough understanding of the platform.
