**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and develop Python Scripts and Databases
- Provide timely analysis of large datasets, and ability to implement big bata ingestion
- Manage supply and demand models across crude, NGL, gas, and power markets
- Provide market analysis and commercial recommendations on opportunities in the markets
- Present market information to stakeholders
- Work in support of the traders to understand market issues that impact the business
- Provide analysis to traders and management in support of strategy discussions
- Responsible for maintaining and communicating market information (pricing, trends, opportunities) to the broader commercial team including Plains executives
- Liaising with other departments as required

**Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, or related disciplines with at least 2+ years of experience working with large data sets and statistics. Related industry experience, computer science or coding background is an asset
- Experience with Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn, VBA, SQL, and Microsoft Azure. Experience with AI/machine learning is an asset.
- Strong data engineering/data management skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills; demonstrated ability to deliver functional analysis and reporting to a diverse audience
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization
- Track record of providing high-quality deliverables on time and under pressure as well as managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable presenting data to various stakeholders in the company
- Goal oriented and able to contribute as a team player
