**What role will you play?**:
We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Technician, who is responsible for the implementation, coordination and improvement of processes necessary to achieve the quality and reliability objectives of Distech Controls products. The technician contributes to the development of aging tests and ensures their execution in production. He/she also implements the appropriate quality controls in production, and coordinates all internal and external follow-ups resulting from the analysis of non-conformities in order to contain, resolve and eliminate the root causes

**Responsibilities**:
**Reliability**:

- Participate in the definition and design of aging tests (THB & DTC) on new and existing products.
- Deploy and coordinate aging test activities in production, from the development of sampling methods to the execution of tests and preparation of final test reports.
- As part of a multi-disciplinary team, coordinate investigations to contain, resolve and eliminate causes of identified non-conformances.

**Quality**:

- Promote quality within Distech.
- Handle non-conformances raised, internal or supplier. Coordinate investigations to contain, resolve and eliminate root causes.
- Analyze customer complaints and returns to identify non-conformances for resolution.
- Implement a feedback process to production personnel to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Coordinate and document the resolution of supplier non-conformances. Participate in annual supplier evaluations.
- Controls non-conforming material: quarantine, supplier returns, disposition, other. This includes coordination of activities resulting from production and/or shipping shutdown decisions.
- Control releases in the various production systems and at suppliers, when applicable.
- Ensure the presence of required traceability procedures in production.
- Participate in pre-production activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Propose improvements to work tools, systems and processes inherent to quality management.
- Identify, monitor and analyze performance indicators related to product quality and reliability.
- Document and maintain quality assurance procedures.
- Actively participate in, and represent Quality on product development teams.
- Be the point of contact for all information related to product life cycle and quality.
