This role will manage the business case process, conducting thorough financial analyses for Executive approval. You will work with Operational resources to lead change while monitoring success of business transformation through reporting.

**Your Role**:

- Manage the development and execution of financial reporting, modelling and cadence required to assess and monitor business transformation opportunities.
- Drive the comprehensive monthly FP&A reporting in support of the VP of Strategy & Planning, conducting variance analysis and comparing actual results to budget, business plan, and forecasts.
- Provide robust financial insights and FP&A to key stakeholders to aid in effective decision-making.
- Own the ROI analysis process for specific organizational initiatives, assessing potential returns and financial impacts.
- Analyze critique, develop and present business cases and pro-forma financials for opportunities using advanced financial modeling techniques while adhering to internal controls and financial standards and provide recommendations for executive decision-making.
- Conduct forecasting and analyses of business plans providing rationale for variances, recommendations / course corrections for VP decision.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, utilizing financial modeling to assess the impact of initiatives on financial and operational metrics.
- Own the process of reviewing business appraisals and plans, contributing to the elimination or reduction of performance gaps through sound FP&A.
- Support transformation objectives by leveraging financial analysis to drive efficiency, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, or a related role.
- Exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills.
- Understanding of transformation management principles and methodologies.
- Expert ability to interpret and analyze financial data, providing insights for decision-making.
- Exceptional business problem-solving ability.
- Outstanding ability to think critically and strategically about business problems.
- Preferred experience in project management.
- Proficiency in relevant financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and across various levels of the organization
- Role is based in Winnipeg, MB with a hybrid work environment.
- May require occasional travel to other locations or regions.
- Regular interaction with senior leadership and various departmental teams, especially within the Transformation Management Office.
