We are looking for a talented cook who can create fresh pizza, pasta and authentic Italian cuisine daily. Our cook will also be involved with educating guests about our menu, the ingredients and providing exceptional customer service.
- Prepares pizzas and pasta according to recipes and high-quality standards
- Advises guests on menu choices
- Ensures all items are rotated according to First In First Out (FIFO) standards
- Manages inventory: estimates needs, places orders, receives and checks deliveries
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work area that meet food safety standards
- Performs other duties as required or assigned

**Qualifications**
- Detailed knowledge of Italian cuisine
- High school diploma or equivalent or culinary degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a cook or chef
- Fluency in Italian would be considered an asset

**Job Requirements**
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as commercial oven, mixer and pasta machine

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 3 years (required)
- Italian Cuisine: 3 years (preferred)
