**Billing Clerk (Part-Time Permanent Position)**
**Location:2121 29th Street NE, Calgary, AB**
**Start Date: ASAP**
**Your responsibilities include**:
**Booking Coordinator**
- This role will largely involve coordination with Orthotist and Prosthetist
- A high aptitude for customer service and provide excellent administrative support
- Coordinate and schedule client assessment and fitting appointments, reminder calls
- Send packages to external fabrication center
- Receive parcels and notify clinician
- Pull charts for booked appointments
- Respond and collaborate with other Lifemark Clinics for patients/funders inquires
- Create/complete client/funder insurance letter when necessary
- The ability to multi-task with a high degree of confidence
- Flexibility to adapt to requests from different health care practitioners
- Strong communication skills
- Providing administrative support under the direction of the Office Manager and Director
- Understanding of medical terminology is an asset
**Billing** Clerk**:
- Read and be familiar with funder contracts, timelines, contractual obligations
- Accurately prepare invoices, submit to funders within contract timelines,
- Accurately enter payments and reconcile with cash receipts reports
- Maintain and collection of aging accounts receivables, contacting clients on overdue accounts
- Ensure all revenue is accurately captured and reconciled monthly
- Reconcile revenue reports while ensuring all revenue is captured
- Receive external invoices, verify expenses, GL coding, submit to AP for payment
- Data entry and scanning documents into LPS
- Provide excellent customer service and administrative support
- Contact funders for pre-approvals and/or general inquires
- Collaborate with Lifemark Orthotics clinics
- Accurate data entry into Lifemark Patient System and report tracking
- Other administrative duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- Will be service oriented, reliable and have the ability to multi-task.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strict attention to detail
- Have the ability to prioritize under pressure
- Possess strong computer skills, specifically in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be exceptionally flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting clinics.
- Experience in accounts receivable position is an asset.
- Handle stressful situations and deadlines
- Possess exceptional organizational skills
- Works independently, take initiative and have a strong work ethic.
- Lifemark Patient System (LPS) experience is an asset
