This is a remote position.

As the Vice President of Manufacturing Software Sales, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue by leading our sales team, developing strategic sales initiatives, and fostering strong relationships with clients. In this player/coach role, your focus will be on driving software sales within the manufacturing sector both directly and through the larger sales team. This role reports directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with our business objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
- Demonstrate the ability to build a robust sales pipeline from scratch.
- Identify and engage potential clients through strategic prospecting.

2. Team Leadership:

- Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear goals, provide coaching, and drive results.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

3. Market Penetration:

- Expand our customer base within the manufacturing industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Position our software solutions as essential tools for manufacturers.

4. Revenue Growth:

- Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and targets.
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Drive revenue through effective negotiations and closing deals.

5. Industry Expertise:

- Understand manufacturing processes, challenges, and trends.
- Leverage this knowledge to tailor the presentation of our analytics solutions to client needs.
- Stay informed about Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.

6. Customer Success:

- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with customer success teams to address client needs.
- Champion a customer-centric approach.
