**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Educate students using various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and encourage student participation.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain an organized and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or STEM related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a teaching or VEX Robotics is highly desirable.
- Must be fluent in English and strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Energetic & eager to learn new things.
- Must be able to travel to after-school location
- Having access to a vehicle is a plus, to travel to host locations and carry teaching equipment like laptops, robotic kits, etc.

**Mandatory**: Successful applicants are required to provide a Vulnerability Criminal Record Check.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
