At STEAMPI, we empower young innovators aged 6-14 to bring their ideas to life through hands-on learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). Our project-based, play-to-learn environment inspires creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving using platforms like VEX Robotics, Scratch, Python, Arduino, and more.

**Position Overview**

We are seeking an energetic and passionate **STEM Instructor** to join our team, focusing on **VEX Robotics (GO and IQ), Coding (Scratch, Python), and Arduino**. This role is perfect for individuals who love working with kids, enjoy hands-on tech, and have a flair for making complex concepts fun and accessible.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead engaging and interactive classes in VEX Robotics, coding, and Arduino electronics.
- Guide students through STEAMPI’s structured project-based curriculum while fostering creativity and innovation.
- Facilitate robotics challenges, coding projects, and maker sessions.
- Adapt lesson delivery to various age groups (6-14 years old).
- Inspire students to think critically, troubleshoot, and collaborate on projects.
- Support students during competitions, showcases, or special events.
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Give feedback to students and parents on progress and achievements.

**Qualifications**
- Experience with **VEX Robotics platforms**.
- Experience with **Scratch and Python** programming.
- Previous teaching, tutoring, or coaching experience with kids (preferred).
- Passion for STEAM education and making learning fun.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and engagement skills.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for young learners.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Micro:bit, LEGO Spike Prime, or other STEM platforms.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
