We’re seeking a hands-on Corporate Event Specialist with strong banquet service and bar knowledge to join our dynamic team.
Position Summary:
As a Corporate Event Specialist, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of corporate events, meetings, and private functions. Your experience in food & beverage service, bartending, and banquet operations will be key to ensuring each event exceeds client expectations and runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute a variety of corporate and social events, from initial booking to final breakdown
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors throughout the event lifecycle
- Coordinate with vendors, bar, and service teams to deliver high-quality experiences
- Oversee setup and breakdown of banquet rooms and event spaces
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and health regulations
- Step in to assist with serving or bartending as needed during peak events
- Train and lead banquet and service staff during events
- Maintain accurate records of event details, billing, and post-event feedback
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination or banquet management
- Background in food & beverage service and bartending required
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move banquet equipment as needed
- Flexible schedule — must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with POS systems and event management tools a plus
