**Sturgeon Public Schools** is currently recruiting for a **Full-Time Temporary Educational Assistant 2** for a work assignment at Redwater School.

**FTE**: 1.0 FTE; 32.5 hrs/week; Monday to Friday; Full-Time Temporary

**Initial Assignment**: Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will work in the Specialized Programming classroom.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Educational Assistant or Early Childhood certificate or diploma

Experience working with students with varying abilities, academic levels, and behaviors, knowledge of students with Autism, fetal alcohol effects (FAE)

Basic or Intermediate First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training or equivalent

Preference is given to applicants having experience and training with varying abilities, Autism, Behaviors

Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered

**Hourly Rate**: $18.82 - $23.57 per hour as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.

Pay: $18.82-$23.57 per hour
