**Overview**

**Job Descriptions**:

- Pre
- and post-installation wireless surveys
- Physical inspections of existing infrastructure
- AP installation and cabling work
- Full reporting of findings and results
- **Site Surveys**:Conduct predictive and onsite **wireless surveys using Ekahau & equivalent tools** to analyze RF environments.
- **Cabling and Installation**:Reuse existing cabling where possible; install new CAT6 cabling as required. Install and mount APs based on survey recommendations. Verify **POE functionality** at all installed APs and notify customer.
- **Validation Survey**:Perform a **post-installation wireless site survey**. Generate heat maps, SINR charts, and other performance indicators.
- **Troubleshooting**:Diagnose and resolve wireless connectivity issues, interference problems, and performance bottlenecks
- **Security**:Implement and configure security measures, including WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X, and other relevant protocols. Provide POE switch ports and network configuration.
- **Performance Tuning**:Optimize wireless parameters, ensuring compliance with standards like 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6).
- **Documentation**:Generate detailed survey reports, network design documents, and optimization plans.
- **Network Design**:Design and configure wireless LANs for various environments, including high-density settings.
- **Provide maintenance and repairs for wireless devices**. Wireless controller configuration or changes. Network switch configuration. Familiarity of LAN and network connectivity troubleshooting / Deployment.
- **Experience with various wireless vendors**: Familiarity with APs and controllers from Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, and other vendors.
- **Experience with other wireless analysis tools**: Proficiency in using tools like NetSpot, AirMagnet, and Wireshark.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications in wireless networking (e.g., Cisco, Aruba) would be a plus.
- Responsible for planning, deploying, and optimizing wireless networks, using Ekahau's software for surveys, analysis, and reporting. This role requires hands-on experience with wireless technology, RF principles, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve network issues.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $20.00-$70.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
