**_Position Open: May 2 to May 9_**
Mount Pleasant Group of Cemeteries is a not-for-profit organization that has been caring for families in the GTA since 1826. We operate ten cemeteries, nine funeral centres and four cremation centres, all serving the distinct needs of the local communities where they are located. We are looking for a **Floater** **Cemetery**Services Clerk**to join our team for **12** months** and travel to all 10 Cemetery locations as needed.

Your home location is York Cemetery.

**Customer Engagement**
- Relieve Receptionist as required.
- Meet with families as needed (in-person, digitally, phone).
- Attend graveside interments of cremated remains.

**Administrative Support**
- Process memorial orders; create documents, receipts, invoices, foundation and setting orders. Includes receiving and tracking of memorial orders, including dealer approvals.
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Order and receive office supplies.
- Maintain stock of collateral material.
- Reconcile and prepare daily bank deposits and various reports.
- Maintain existing reports supporting the team (including PAP paid in full report, utilized prepaid report, etc.)
- Scan/index cemetery documents into Perceptive Content.
- Finalize all arrangements ensuring documents are received and processed.
- Finalize and process interment rights & records documents, such as transfers, and allocations, etc.
- Reconcile petty cash, includes monitoring for change and may require going to go to the bank.
- Responsible for the mail; includes delivery/pick at post office and processing items through the site mail machine.
- Grave Verification; check interments/entombments daily; take photographs and rubbings of memorials as needed.
- Assist with office inventory control, including cremation urn inventory, monitoring wreaths and office supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of processed documents and compile reports as needed.
- Track courtesy markers and courtesy crosses and maintaining record and removal as needed.

**Hours/Days of Work**:

- 5 days a week including every Monday, Friday & Saturday.
- Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday off
- as per site needs.
- Daily Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- as per site needs.

**Qualifications**:

- A valid Ontario “G” Driver’s Licence and a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- The successful applicant must obtain a Sales Representative Licence upon hire.
- Working knowledge of the death care industry would be considered an asset.
- Understanding and knowledge of clerical responsibilities.
- Commitment to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
- Understanding and knowledge of clerical responsibilities.
- Intermediate proficiency of Windows and MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment.
