The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis. As the city’s main charitable food hub and the most accessible food bank, we have the capacity to serve families, individuals, and organizations to fight hunger. **We are currently recruiting a Corporate Partnerships Coordinator to join our Fund Development team.** Last year (September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2024), the Calgary Food Bank worked collaboratively to raise $22.1 million in funds and $44.7 million in food donations.

**Responsibilities**:
Build Robust Corporate Partnerships:

- Develop win - win partnerships to meet the business objectives of the Calgary Food Bank and the Community Social Responsibility objectives of corporate partners.
- Assist in the development of corporate partnership strategies to meet company objectives
- Manage a portfolio of 150 current and prospective corporate donors to cultivate, solicit and steward
- Identify, cultivate and solicit corporate partnerships that may include opportunities to sponsor, volunteer, donate and otherwise engage with the Calgary Food Bank
- Work with the Events team to identify corporate prospects through third-party event participants
- Monitor stakeholder and partner relationships to enhance fundraising opportunities (grants, donations, employee campaigns and events).
- Work with leadership team to provide reports, strategic insight and stewardship plans for corporate partners portfolio
- Collaborate with the communications and events team to develop compelling fundraising materials, solicit and attend corporate fundraising events
- Identify and build relationships with key corporate contacts
- Maintain a schedule of corporate partner site visits and prepare annual campaign planning materials to support corporate partnership goals
- Conduct presentations, public speaking, host tours at the Calgary Food Bank, facilitate employee engagement activities on and offsite
- Assist in developing a corporate recognition and thanking program

Document and Data Management:

- Prepare and distribute corporate stewardship reports on a regular basis
- Liaise with the Volunteer Resources team to coordinate corporate volunteer groups
- Maintain accurate records within donor databases and project management software
- Analyze fundraising data and prepare regular reports for senior management related to corporate giving
- Monitor fundraising progress and course correct strategies as needed to meet targets.
- Analyze current third-party events and donor relationships to identify corporate prospects
- Is keenly aware of the relationship strength of certain corporate partners and is able to forecast fundraising revenue

**Tasks Performed**:

- Prepare corporate stewardship reports and conduct annual planning meetings with corporate partners
- Attend networking events
- Reporting donation and relationship activities
- Maintain an annual corporate stewardship calendar
- Maintain a schedule of corporate partner site visits
- Maintain strategic fundraising portfolio focused on stewardship and donor appreciation.
- Conduct Calgary Food Bank tours
- Presentations, public speaking, coordination, and leadership
- Assist with planning and running Calgary Food Bank events as required

**Education and Experience Required**:
A combination of education and experience in any of the following is an asset: a related post-secondary degree and/or experience in marketing, sales, communications, fundraising, relationship management.

Certification in Corporate Social Responsibility programs and / or corporate fundraising campaign committee participation is an asset.

**Skills and Capabilities**:

- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability in creating fundraising materials.
- Proficient in using Salesforce and CRM systems.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Working Conditions and Physical Requirements**:
This is a regular, full-time position working, 40 hours per week (including a half hour unpaid lunch break) 5 days a week, 8 hours per day. Working conditions are normal for an office environment and may require travel to meet with donors, attend events and occasional visits to the warehouse.
