**About SORCe and Distress Centre Programs**

The Safe Communities Opportunity and Resource Centre (SORCe) is a multi-agency collaborative that connects individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness to essential programs and services.

As the backbone agency, Distress Centre Calgary (DCC) leads service integration at SORCe while also providing direct support. DCC operates the Coordinated Entry Program, the primary intake, assessment, and referral hub for housing and other services, including System Navigation & Referrals, CAA housing strategists, financial empowerment, and Justice Navigation.

DCC ensures cohesive collaboration among all partners, strengthening system navigation and community connections. Through its leadership and direct services, DCC helps prevent homelessness, reduce barriers to housing, and enhance integration across the social services sector.

Job Objective_**
- The Partnership and Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day coordination between Crossroads partner agencies, the Distress Centre leadership team, and external interest holders. This role ensures effective communication and collaboration among partners, supports key meeting logistics, and acts as the primary contact for partnership and operational matters at SORCe. The position also manages shared resources, supports vendor coordination, and contributes to a well-functioning shared space.

**Key Outcomes**
- Communication and collaboration between Crossroads partner agencies, Distress Centre leadership, and interest holders is consistent, timely, and effective.
- Key meetings are scheduled, supported, and documented with clear agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Shared resources, supplies, and vendor services are managed efficiently and equitably across partners.
- Operational concerns from partner agencies are responded to in a timely and solutions-focused manner.
- Space and facility needs at SORCe are monitored and addressed in collaboration with building management and relevant partners.

**Primary Duties**
- This is not an exhaustive list of duties, but meant to give you a sense of what you’ll be doing on a regular basis. Other related duties may be required.

Partnership & Interest Holder Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison between SORCe partner agencies, Distress Centre leadership, and external interest holders.
- Support the Partnership Table, Distress Centre leadership team, and partner agency leaders by coordinating quarterly Partnership Table meetings, including scheduling, logistics, agenda preparation, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Serve as a central contact for addressing concerns, sharing updates, and fostering collaboration across agencies.
- Work with the SORCe Director and Managers to support coordination of shared initiatives.
- Manage the shared SharePoint site, ensuring appropriate structure and access for agency staff.
- Facilitate clear communication across partner agencies to support service integration and operational consistency.
- Support partner agency onboarding processes for new staff.
- Assist in organizing cross-agency training sessions and professional development opportunities.

Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain and distribute internal communications and information tools (e.g., contact lists, closures, document libraries).
- Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies (office, kitchen, first aid, and basic needs items), and reconcile purchases with the DCC finance team.
- Coordinate office maintenance requests and manage vendor relations, including procurement and payment processing.
- Serve as point of contact for day-to-day operations such as parking, space use, and workflow concerns.
- Manage staff access systems (e.g., swipe cards, security), and coordinate safety functions like panic alarm training and emergency drills.
- Plan and support SORCe-wide meetings, staff events, and engagement activities.
- Liaise with the IT provider for routine troubleshooting and technology-related needs.
- Maintain key documentation such as onboarding tools, operational manuals, and policy updates.
- Track and manage participant-related supplies (e.g., transportation, food, harm reduction).
- Support recruitment activities including interview scheduling, reference checks, and onboarding coordination.
- Promote a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all partner staff and program operations.
- Provide general administrative support to off-site programs as needed.
