Asphalt Plant Manager

**Company Overview**
A well-established company in the road construction, aggregate supply, and maintenance sector is seeking an experienced **Asphalt Plant Manager** to oversee multiple plant operations. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and a safe working environment across all locations.
**Summary**
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the **Asphalt Plant Manager** will oversee the production, maintenance, and staffing of multiple asphalt plant sites. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations, high-quality output, and a safe work environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead daily plant operations and production, including crushing activities, to meet output targets and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to align production schedules with customer demand.
- Work closely with Quality Control teams to ensure materials meet required specifications and standards.
- Manage subcontractors (e.g., welders, electricians) and ensure timely, high-quality work.
- Enforce company policies and maintain strong safety protocols at all sites.
- Participate in hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management for both unionized and non-union staff.
- Oversee budgets related to plant operations, maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and industry associations.
**Qualifications**
- A proven background in asphalt manufacturing operations is required.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor diverse teams.
- Basic computer literacy.
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
