The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry is the largest Faculty on campus and employs over 2,000 part-time and full time faculty and over 1,000 staff. **Responsibilities**: Reporting to the Operations Manager, Clinics, and supporting the Assistant Director, Clinical Affairs, the Patient Services Coordinator will provide guidance, direction and support to students, patients, faculty and staff regarding patient services matters and/or clinic compliance issues. The role will lead the development of protocols and forms related to patient services matters, and ensure they are effectively communicated to support the delivery of appropriate patient-centred care. The role will be responsible for the development of suitable financial structures and arrangements with patients, and will also manage the Patient Support Funds process, which provides patients with access to services when they have demonstrated a financial need. **Qualifications**: **Education**: - Undergraduate Degree with a major in Business Administration or related field **Experience**: - 3 years’ experience coordinating administrative and financial functions in a health care or clinical setting Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Analytical skills to accurately interpret and integrate report data from various sources - Customer service skills with a desire to achieve results in a professional and timely manner - Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy - Ability and willingness to stay abreast of technological developments - Ability to employ a systematic and efficient approach to work - Ability to collect and discern relevant data to create reports and recommendations - Ability to complete detailed analytics and reports - Adapts readily and effectively to changing priorities and demands - Computer skills with the ability to creatively use and integrate technology to improve quality and productivity - Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to collect and analyze data in an objective manner to make appropriate decisions and recommendations - Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks that are accurate and thorough, sometimes of a complex nature or involving competing priorities - Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, while being open to trying new ideas and working methods - Proven ability and natural inclination to develop relationships by interacting with people in a professional, respectful and diplomatic manner - Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve department goals - Familiarity with University policies and procedures preferred **Western Values Diversity**: Accommodations are available for applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
