**Shifts: Days**

**Annual Salary: $86,927 - $108,657**

Reporting to the Director - Building Services, the Manager - Capital Planning & Development is responsible for leading overall planning of all major St. Joseph's Care Group (SJCG) capital development, redevelopment and renewal.

The Manager will be required to work with interdisciplinary teams to establish functional plans for large-scale capital projects.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Degree in a related field
- Minimum five (5) years' experience managing large and complex capital projects

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with private and public officials, subordinates, co-workers
- Ability to identify, understand, and meet/exceed the requirements of internal and external customers
- Ability to think and act strategically in a healthcare sector environment, including the ability to conceptualize and implement change strategies
- Excellent project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to improve effectiveness and efficiency through the management and utilization of human, financial, and physical resources
- Strong leadership skills including the ability to direct, motivate, evaluate, and recognize staff; proven ability to share skills and knowledge with others
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software
- Demonstrated leadership, facilitation and communication skills
- Successful track record in negotiating and influencing others
- Competent within the meaning of the Occupational Health & Safety Act

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
- Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation
