**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that every dish is prepared to perfection while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This position requires a passion for cooking and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation and food handling, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and food safety practices is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the food industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are necessary for success in this role.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
