Academy of Learning Career College (AOLCC)
- Toronto campus is looking to hire a **PSW Clinical Instructor for placing the students in Clinical Practicums**. This program is registered with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.

Academy of Learning Career College is responsible for providing a welcoming environment in which adult learners may engage in independent learning activities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of the field
- Visiting the clinical facility for supervising the students in the GTA
- Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently and report student’s progress to career services
- Provide feedback on student performance
- Demonstrate sensitivity to student needs and individual circumstances in a multicultural environment
- Resolve student and facility concerns with a positive and professional attitude
- Maintain attendance records accurately
- Maintain confidentiality of student privacy and information
- Display an attitude of teamwork and problem-solving
- Perform other related duties as required
- Build new partnerships with practicum sites and strengthen existing partnerships
- Administrative duties assigned by management (i.e.: reviewing immunization records, skills passbook signings, etc.)

**Skills Required**:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems
- Excellent oral and written communication to present information in a way that students will understand as well as adapt to the different learning styles
- Flexible to travel to the clinical facilities regularly as required as well as to our Brampton campus when needed

**Qualifications**
- **Must be a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) **with a minimum of two (2) years of registration with CNO
- Must be up to date with Covid-19 vaccination standards as per provincial guidelines
- Must present with a minimum of two (2) years of current, relevant work experience in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in a long-term care/community/chronic care setting
- Meet instructor qualification standards as outlined in the Regulations to Private Career Colleges Act, 2005

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
