- The role of Distribution Account Manager
- Canada is your opportunity to manage Axiom’s daily business relationship with assigned distributor partners. You will also engage and educate inside sales teams, field territory mangers and gain market share with their assigned resellers. You will combine your customer service and sales background to hit the ground running

**As the Distribution Account Manager
- Canada, your key responsibilities will include**:
**Sales - 50%**
- Responsible for growing Axiom’s brand recognition with assigned distributor to expand Axiom’s market and mind share
- Act as the sales point of contact for distribution sales organization
- Create quarterly and annual sales plans in collaboration with distribution partner
- Generate revenue to exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
- Manage product sales mix to maximize profitability
- Work with distribution sales organization to prospect and recruit new resellers
- Work with the internal and field sales teams to assist in the development of new business from existing and net new customers
- Facilitate proper alignment of Axiom Territory Account Managers with Distributor’s field sales teams
- Educate and enable distribution sales team to become advocates for Axiom
- Establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels
- Manage pipeline and act as a point of contact between Axiom field sales and distribution teams
- Complete daily sales calls and document outcome

**Operations - 25%**
- Manage inventory levels to maximize availability of core sku’s
- Manage aged inventory to ensure inventory does not surpass 90-days
- Manage current Axiom catalog (New part setup / Disco requests / Price updates)
- Manage price protections for on-hand and in-transit inventory
- Work closely with distribution marketing and purchasing team
- Research and communicate detailed tracking information to customers or distribution teams
- Research and approve special pricing claims and rebates
- Manage appropriate distribution RMA defective and return requests

**Marketing - 25%**
- Manage budget, CO-OP and MDF Funds
- Develop and execute incentive programs
- Plan, setup and execute all floor days, trainings, showcases and entertainment events

**To be a good fit for this role, you will have**:

- 3-5 years of sales experience in an inside or outside sales capacity.
- Experience in a lead role in a sales environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
- Knowledge of the Distribution Channel.

**Strong Advantages**:
