Job Summary:
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Laser Cutting Operations**:

- Assist in operating 2D and tube laser cutting machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications.
- Support quality assurance efforts by monitoring machine performance and maintaining accurate records.
- Aid in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of laser cutting machines.
- Follow written instructions, technical drawings, and production schedules to ensure precision.
- **Crane & Forklift Operation**:

- Operate a crane to lift, move, position, and reposition materials on and off laser machines.
- Use a forklift to transport raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
- **Production Support**:

- Assist in preparing raw materials for production.
- Participate in assembling final products for shipping.
- Support general shop maintenance, order fulfillment, and cleanliness.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Adhere to all company safety protocols and contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with operational guidelines while handling materials and operating machinery.
- **Additional Duties**:

- Record machine settings and job details in custom software.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the employer.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Minimum **1 year** experience operating **2D and/or tube laser cutting machines** (Trumpf experience is an asset).
- **1 year** experience operating a **crane and forklift**.
- Ability to **read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints**.
- Physically capable of **lifting 50 lbs** without assistance.
- Strong **attention to detail** and **problem-solving skills**.
- Effective **verbal and written communication** skills.
- Ability to **work independently and collaboratively** in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated **reliability and punctuality**.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
