Collaborate and manage relationships with vendors, universities, and government laboratories. On-site Work: Work hands-on at our research facilities, overseeing experimental setups, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the safe operation of fusion experiments. Provide mechanical design support for the laser optical enhancement cavity and test facilities development. Use engineering design and analysis software to develop engineering drawings and analyzethermal, structural, degradation and other mechanical effects in unique environments. Travel: Able to travel within the U.S., Japan, and Europe. Communication: Effectively communicate research findings, project updates, and technical insights to colleagues and stakeholders. Produce high-quality written reports and presentations for both internal and external audiences.
