**Role purpose**
This position drives and supports the objectives of the western Canadian business units and firm by planning and executing on strategic marketing plans and campaigns that align with firm goals, under the guidance of the Western Canada Regional Marketing Senior Manager and business unit Managing Partners. This position reports to the Regional Marketing Senior Manager.

**As a Regional Marketing & Communications Manager your responsibilities will include**:

- Develop and manage the execution of complex multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned to firm objectives and marketing plans
- Play a lead role in supporting 3 business units along with marketing support for other west business units as needed
- Lead special projects in western Canada and across the firm as needed
- Deliver an exceptional digital experience for clients and colleagues
- Demonstrate leadership and build trust and rapport with business unit leadership stakeholders. Help shift mindsets on what marketing is and isn’t, and educate on the value of marketing to the business
- Act as a People Manager for three marketing team members:

- Provide coaching and guidance to help them grow in their role
- Manage project and task prioritization and accountability for junior colleagues
- Act as a brand storyteller—ensure all content and communications tells a compelling story tailored to our target audience
- Produce engaging and clear content and copy for internal and external communications
- Collaborate with the firm marcom team to leverage agency and digital support for campaign deliverables
- Be a leader in the use of the firm’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other marketing enablement technology to manage campaigns and track ROI
- Consistent reporting to firm stakeholders on marketing plan and campaign KPIs and learnings
- Remain knowledgeable of firm marketing strategy, programs and campaigns to leverage in your projects and campaigns
- Demonstrate an understanding of the firm’s services and markets by proactively bringing forward ideas
- Some travel may be required

- Minimum 7 years of applied experience in B2B professional services with traditional and digital marketing strategies and tactics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Manager role
- University undergraduate degree in Marketing Communications or related field
- Marketing experience in an accounting/tax/advisory firm will be considered an asset
- You are a collaborative team player
- You are self-motivated and results driven
- You are a creative and critical thinker who is passionate about marketing and growing the business
- You can demonstrate the ability to drive change, generate buy-in and influence key decision makers in a complex organizational structure
- You consistently and proactively bring forward fresh, new ideas and strategic marketing opportunities
- You consistently bring forward solutions, and take ownership over problem solving complex conflicts or issues
- You have exceptional attention to detail/accuracy
- You are highly organized with advanced project management skills
- You bring a strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRMs and marketing enablement tools is considered an asset
- You have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional trav
