**Job Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. Pur & Simple is a dynamic breakfast restaurant with amazing operational hours 7 am to 3pm.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the flow of guests in our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive dining experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or concerns, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Provide support during busy periods by helping with table settings or other tasks as needed.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Proficient in using POS systems for managing orders and payments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the guest experience.

**AVAILABILITY**
- Weekends must be available (9 am to 3:30 pm)
- Weekdays as needed (9 am to 3:30 pm)

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
