**POSITION OVERVIEW**

BCW Traffic Management Ltd. is a leading traffic control company in BC looking for experienced Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) in the **Lower Mainland B.C. area**, who will work closely with management team in the pursuit of successful execution of projects and growth opportunities. This position reports to the Operations Manager of BCW Traffic Management Ltd.

**The areas we are hiring for**:

- Abbotsford
- Chilliwack
- Hope
- Vancouver etc.

**Key Responsibilities (Varies)**:

- Comply with and meet safety expectations through cooperation with the Safety Team
- Correct improper and unsafe work activities and conditions when necessary
- Identify workplace hazards and take steps to ensure everyone's safety
- Ensure truck(s) are maintained according to manufacturers specification; mileage tracked to reduce fuel spend.
- Ensure equipment inventory is tracked on a bi-weekly basis
- Provide training to teammates when necessary
- Liaise with clients and ensure a healthy open working relationship is developed and maintained
- Work with management to ensure safety, operational and financial targets are exceeded
- Uphold and improve company Safety Program and performance
- Provide buffering services to client's workers on the highway by operating BCW Scorpion

**Qualifications**

**- BCCSA approved TCP certificate is a MUST**

**- OFA certificate is an asset**

**- Previous experience working as an LCT is**_**mandatory**_

**- Class 5 or 7 drivers license is**_**mandatory**_

**- Familiarity with construction, traffic management plans and set ups**
- Arrives on time for work
- Is willing to work with others and has great communication skills
- Possesses a strong safety-centered mindset
- Participates in the daily toolbox meeting(s) and completes all other required safety documentation
- Always remains professional
- Represents BCW Traffic Management and performs your job to best of your ability
- Strong written and spoken English
- Must have ability to multi-task and use sound judgment to prioritize activities
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to excel with limited supervision
- Out of the box thinker who is creative in problem solving to meet client needs

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
