**Job description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily store operations and provide hands-on leadership to the team.
- Manage inventory levels, monitor product rotation, and minimize waste to ensure freshness.
- Ensure all products are stocked, organized, and merchandised in an appealing manner.
- Train, mentor, and support team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and resolving issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards as well as store policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain consistent stock levels and resolve delivery issues.
- Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions with care and efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a grocery, liquor, cafe, or other retail environments.
- Proven leadership skills, with 1+ years of experience managing teams in a retail environment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist customers confidently.
- Knowledge of grocery products, merchandising techniques, and inventory management.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must have a valid _Serving It Right_ certification or obtain one prior to the start of employment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada and either reside in the local area or be willing to commute.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.50-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 32 per week
