**Requirements**:
- Establish department objectives and pursue them through planning, controlling, and measuring performance
- Manage all aspects of the used vehicle department including:
- Maintaining a well-balanced used inventory
- Setting the standards for appraisal and appraising all incoming vehicles
- Ensuring that vehicles are properly valued at all times, and adjust costs or prices as appropriate
- Maximizing profit and minimizing expenses
- Purchasing used vehicles at reasonable prices and informing salespeople of all new inventory
- Desk deals with sales consultants
- Drive staff motivation, performance, and productivity
- Meet short
- and long-term sales targets
- Provide excellent customer service
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 5 years of automotive sales experience
- Used car sales experience is an asset
- Experience leading a team of salespeople
- Solid sales and administration background
- Knowledge of marketing and finance
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume capacity
- Working knowledge of PBS, v-auto, and dealer track is an asset
- Positive attitude as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and excellent organizational skills
**Hours of work**: Full time
