CSR Cosmetics is a rapidly expanding local manufacturer of personal care and cosmetics products in business for over 68 years. We are currently seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler with **manufacturing experience** to join our team

**General Description**

Create multi-week schedules based on order book in conjunction with Customer Service and Production Personnel. Lead daily Production Meetings - creating daily schedules.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Create detailed weekly production schedule optimizing customer expectations, raw material and packaging inventory as well as operational efficiency
- Works closely with purchasing to ensure raw material and component delivery meet manufacturing objectives
- Work with Customer Service and Production to anticipate requirements
- Daily review of departmental progress to plan and make adjustment to meet objectives. Compiling data for reports on progress of work including production issues
- Monitor priorities for production optimization
- Monitor production progress; estimate materials and labour required for production departments; co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production
- Amend schedule based on changing requirements or material/equipment issues
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

**Education**
- Post-secondary education in related field

**Experience**
- 2-5 years material scheduling **experience in a manufacturing** environment
- ERP experience preferred

**Skills/Abilities**
- Working knowledge of schedule processes
- Demonstrated skills in building and maintaining positive internal partnerships
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills - MS Office; Aptitude to learn new systems (ERP)
- Critical thinking, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain composure, multi-task and prioritize under pressure
- Ability to be professionally persistent; ask relevant questions to gain understanding
- Superior organizational and time management skills; meet deadlines and manage priorities
- Adaptable and flexible to meeting changing work requirements, as needed
