**Job Summary**:
Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to work in tandem with both the service team to provide an exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair experience for the customer, as well as with other departments to bring about the best experience for you and the customer. As a Service Mechanic, you must have a results-oriented outlook and be self-motived, high energy, and dynamic to the busy environment around you.
**Shifts**: Tuesday - Saturday, 8 hour shifts
**Wage**:Hourly, dependent on experience. Can earn up to $90k/year
**The requirements**:
- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification is an asset
- Apprentice Service Technician certification is an asset
- High degree of accuracy, sound judgment, and attention to detail
- Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Knowledge of rules surrounding automotive safety, best practices, and consumer protection
- Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills
- Ability to handle rapidly increasing workload
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative
- Driver’s license in good standing and clean driver’s abstract required
- Position is available for both experienced and junior level service technicians

**The job**:
- Test-drive motorcycles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Writers so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
- Perform the work described in the work orders efficiently and accurately, based on the dealership and manufacturer standards
- Determine the cause of any defect and repair it. Detect the issues with the vehicle, based on the customer’s complaints and your own inspection
