Disability Support Worker

Looking for a disability support worker to work with our adult son.
- A strong belief and commitment to inclusion, the right for all people to belong, participate, and contribute to the community.
- The ability to work independently and to employ effective time management skills
- Good communication and advocacy skills
- Training and experience working with people with disabilities.
- Excellent coaching skills - knowledge of and ability to demonstrate and support the development of skills as they relate to home and community life.
- A valid class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. ($2 million insurance required)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Clean Criminal Record Check and Child Welfare Check required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 15 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lethbridge, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Support staff: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
