As specialists in Medical Device Reprocessing, we adhere to the highest standards and regulations set by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) for the reprocessing and sterilization of reusable medical instruments and devices. We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Instrumet Coordinator to join our team at our partner hospital in Sudbury.

**Job Responsibilities - Clinical Instrument Coordinator**
- Oversee the instrument process, including ordering, inventory control, and tracking lost instrumentation.
- Perform maintenance and provide care and handling in-service training for staff.
- Maintain and update the instrument tracking system, including running reports (inventory, tray tracking, productivity, repair scheduling).
- Collaborate with clinical nurses to identify and procure instrument needs.
- Establish a tracking process for the receipt of instruments from clinics and ensure the timely return of sterilized instruments.
- Support additional quality and cost-saving initiatives as defined by leadership.
- Coordinate with instrument repair companies for all instruments requiring repair.
- Assist with data collection to provide reports and KPI metrics to Infection Control, quality teams, and leadership.

**Quality Assurance Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to CSA, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and other applicable standards.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Quality Management System (QMS), including:

- Document and record control
- SOP development
- Staff communication and training
- Internal and external audit preparation and participation
- Incident management (customer complaints, non-conformances, CAPA, root cause analysis)
- Quality reporting, tracking, and trending
- Supplier management
- Participate in additional quality-related activities as directed by management.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of effectively managing the instrument lifecycle to support optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
- Preferably Bachelor's in QA
- 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within the medical device or health care industry.
- 1+ years of experinece in hospital/healthcare setup as instrument coordinator
- Strong knowledge of CSA standard for reprocessing
- **Certification in medical device reprocessing.**:

- Excellent technical writing, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent use of Microsoft office tools including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Pay: $53,935.00-$62,000.00 per year
