**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, In-flight Programs, the In-flight Programs Support Lead offers day-to-day assistance across various in-flight crew-focused programs and initiatives. As a member of the in-flight programs team, you'll play a pivotal and supportive role in managing crew member absenteeism, performance, promotional upgrades, system-wide line checking, onboarding and offboarding processes. The In-flight Programs Support Lead provides crucial and timely behind-the-scenes support, often necessitating professional discretion and confidentiality. This role primarily operates in an office environment but may require travel flexibility to support in-flight programs and initiatives across all crew bases.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **In-Flight Programs Support Lead** **include:

- Support and compile daily and weekly attendance and performance reporting, identifying crew care escalations as required to operational supervisors or the in-flight programs leadership team.
- Ensure effective Attendance Support Program tracking and categorization, supporting the Manager, Crew Performance & Recognition with meeting minutes and ASP documentation requirements
- Support crew care initiatives, following up on Flight Attendant absences and injuries as requested
- Responsible for supporting Flight Attendants returning or departing from approved leave’s, extended absences, or workplace injuries, with special attention paid to administrative support requirements (RAIC, Parking & Uniforms)
- Support and review staff travel reporting against absenteeism trends, escalating concerns to the HR & employee staff travel team, operational supervisors, and in-flight programs leadership team as necessary
- Liaise with SkyPro regarding Flight Attendant uniform requirements, support uniform ordering & backorder monitoring. Educate Flight Attendant team on Uniform Standards
- Participate and support department recruitment events and onboarding requirements, working alongside HR/Recruitment teams as required to welcome and onboard new in-flight team members
- Participate and support complex flight planning requirements including tracking and monitoring of in-flight director upgrades in addition to system wide Flight Attendant line check evaluations Support Crew Planning & Crew Training, and FA Records teams with all promotional or line checking programs
- Proactively respond to ad-hoc Flight Attendant requests, re-directing them to the appropriate internal support teams or channel (Flair Connect) while providing timely and effective follow up
- Fosters positive relations with Flight Attendants and all members of the Inflight Operations, Programs, and greater flight operations team. Partners effectively with all internal supportive and operational teams
- Assist the in-flight programs and in-flight operations team members with adhoc requests or correspondence requirements
- Assist in planning and scheduling of townhall meetings, in-flight recognition and departmental communication bulletins and initiatives
- Other duties as assigned by the Director, In-flight and Senior In-flight leadership team

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Education**: Post-secondary education is preferred for this role
- ** Experience**:

- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in aviation is required
- Previous experience as a Flight Attendant is considered an asset
- Knowledge of NOC/NavBlue, and Smartsheet considered an asset
- Proficient in PC usage and office software Advanced level of proficiency using Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel- ** Skills & Abilities**:

- Ability to work independently and complete tasks that require high accuracy and close attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment required
- Exercise strong judgement and a high level of confidentiality when dealing with in-flight leadership or crew member matters
- Demonstrated planning, coordination, administrative and organizational skills achieved through flexibility and strong time management
- Professionalism and ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
