**Reports To**:Director of Quality **Location**:Pickering

**Position Overview**:
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all necessary equipment, tools, documentation, training, and processes required for the successful execution by the Quality department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System including the quality manual, quality systems procedures and standard operating procedures and instructions.
- Plans and conducts analysis, inspection, and testing of products to assure that quality standards are met and maintained.
- Interacts and communicates with manufacturing management and customers assisting with and/or taking the lead in developing problem solving activities.
- Reviews and approves testing procedures to assure compliance with industry and customers.
- Assists with any IATF audit preparation, including coaching department staff through processes and procedures, collecting, and tracking requirements, creating timelines and deliverables within the standards of the program and the process.
- Coordinate data and oversees the quarterly management meeting.
- Maintains calibration system for test equipment and gauges.
- Reviews and performs PPAP submissions to applicable customers.
- Participates in the APQP process and is responsible for the Quality task completion.
- All other assigned duties.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Quality Management or a related field
- 3-5 years of work-related experience within a quality department or role.
- Ability to lead business efforts by planning & prioritizing changing needs to achieve desired results.
- Interfaces with customer directly to resolve issues, discuss changes, and provide audit information in a professional manner.
- Must possess sound knowledge of IATF Internal Auditing or equivalent with experience.
- Supervisory experience in a Unionized manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language including but not limited to written, orally, and numerically in a professional manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be detail oriented and conduct work with a high degree of accuracy.
