Position Objective:
The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for coordinating with the management team of the Porsche Experience Centre Toronto (PEC) to support the vehicle fleet of the PEC. The vehicle fleet is the key element of a PEC, and proper maintenance and support is essential to it's success.
The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for coordinating with internal Porsche resources and vendor-supported teams to ensure the PEC has an appropriate and well-maintained fleet to service the business. This requires that fleet inventory is ordered, tracked, serviced, transported, and retired within Porsche guidelines. At the workshop level, this role is accountable for supervising the workshop technicians for labor reporting, training and certification, and efficiency. The role is also responsible for maintaining all parts-related activities: ordering, returns, and inventory; as well as submitting warranty claims as necessary for the PEC fleet and customer vehicles as part of the New Vehicle Delivery (NVD) program.
While the PEC strives to maintain most vehicles on-site, from time to time the Supervisor will need to coordinate with Porsche Service Centre resources. The Workshop Supervisor will also oversee a team of logistics and detail staff. It is the Supervisor's responsibility to ensure that all Porsche-owned vehicles and display vehicles are properly maintained and staged to support the drive operations and showcase the brand.
The Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) is a brand immersion destination for automobile enthusiasts. It offers the ability for guests of all ages to take in the heritage of the brand, experience the Porsche lifestyle and the thrill of the drive, allowing Porsche to build connections with people from all walks of life. Guests visit the PEC primarily to engage in driving experiences behind the wheel of a Porsche vehicle on a purpose-built driver development track.
