Overview:
**$19.50 / hour**

This is a vacant position. **Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll provide exceptional service for our employees and guests when they visit the park**.**

You’ll also
- Work directly with the Chair of the Associate Experience Committee to plan and execute various programs and events outlined by the committee as well as supporting the Associate Services team
- Attend committee meetings and be present on event days to ensure all details are taken care of and the event runs smoothly
- Communicate with the Food & Beverage department to ensure food items are ordered, as well as other items from various departments within Canada’s Wonderland (Entertainment, Maintenance, Merchandise etc.)
- Create flyers, print material, digital invitations, and send out mass communication to employees about various events and programs
- Source and purchase snacks, prizes, decorations etc. for the event as needed and work within the allotted budget
- Coordinate all ticket orders and process invoices as required
- Manage event logistics, execution and teardown of employee events
- Organize and coordinate the distribution of items relating to committee initiatives
- Provide weekly progress updates to the Chair of the committee as well as, a summary at the end of events
- Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications:

- You
- Post Secondary education in Event Planning, Hospitality or Travel and Tourism or related experience is preferred
- Someone who is creative, detail oriented, strong interpersonal, communication, organizational skills
- Strong decision making, listening skills, and the ability to navigate issues as they arise
- Individuals that are able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed
- Availability that includes working flexible shifts on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
