**Ready to transform our Industrial Hygiene ?**
Under the leadership of the Corporate HS Director, the Industrial Hygiene Coordinator plays a strategic role in developing and implementing health and industrial hygiene practices across our two sites (mine and plant). Responsible for WHMIS and the health and hygiene program, this person actively contributes to building a strong and proactive HS culture within the company.
**Your Day-to-Day**:
- Identify and assess health and safety risks for each site.
- Design and implement an industrial hygiene and health program.
- Conduct industrial hygiene measurements and produce clear and accessible reports.
- Develop and implement a respiratory protection program.
- Collaborate in selecting personal protective equipment (PPE) tailored to each site.
- Propose and implement innovative strategies to optimize workplace health and safety.
- Act as a change agent to promote a positive HS and Lean culture.
- Draft procedures related to prevention and management of workplace injuries.
- Actively participate in prevention initiatives: meetings, audits, inspections, and management reviews.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure rigorous follow-ups at both the plant and mine.
**Your qualifications**:
- Graduate diploma (DESS) in Occupational Hygiene or College Diploma (DEC) in Environment, Hygiene, and Workplace Safety.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial hygiene.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and standards.
- Familiarity with HSE management systems (ISO 45001).
- Actively promote values of health and safety, ethics, diversity, and inclusion.
