About the Role
KAR Auto Parts and KAR Auto Sales are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finance & Admin Clerk to support the daily financial operations of both businesses. This role plays a key part in ensuring our books are balanced daily, accounts are reconciled, vendors and clients are managed professionally, and internal processes run smoothly — with a primary focus on the KAR Auto Parts division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR)
- Reconcile daily sales and perform end-of-day financial closing
- Oversee the Cash-on-Delivery (COD) payment process
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable for business customers
- Collect employee hours and submit through payroll software
- Track expenses and assist with bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Communicate with vendors and customers regarding balances, documentation, and payment schedules
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of AP/AR, daily reconciliation, and financial accuracy
- Comfortable working with vendors and B2B clients
- Organized, dependable, and detail-focused
- Must be available to work on-site full-time in Mississauga
