**Job description**

For this position, we are looking for availability from Monday to Wednesday, with possible availability through the remainder of the week.

**responsibilities**

  • _Report to the Store Manager/Assistant Managers/Shift Managers_
  • _Deliver exceptional customer service and greet customers in a friendly professional manner_
  • _Responsible for preparing and processing POS transactions (cash handling, debit/credit, receipts)_
  • _Budtenders should have extensive knowledge on all products available in-store and about the industry in general_
  • _Budtenders should understand how the rules of recreational cannabis differs from the rules of medical cannabis and what are the general guidelines between the two sub sectors of the industry_
  • _Resolve customer complaints and guide them to appropriate solution_
  • _Comply with all AGCO guidelines_
  • _Complete ID checks on all customers without exception_
  • _Maintain adequate stock and accurate inventory counts_
  • _Cultivate long term-customer relationships by providing superior customer service_
  • _Assist in tidiness and cleanliness of store_
  • _Provide feedback to management on customer experience and product variation_

**qualifications/requirements**

  • _**Must be 19 years of age or older**_
  • _**Must be able to pass a Basic Criminal Background Check**_
  • _**Must have completed CannSell(SLGA) certification prior to the start date**_
  • _Previous retail experience preferred_
  • _Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle an asset_
  • _Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment_
  • _Excellent communication and listening skills_
  • _In-depth knowledge of products, accessories and consumption methods_
  • _Must be able to work a flexible schedule (including holidays and weekends)_

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
