**Job Description**:
The Delivery Driver, is responsible for delivering products to our Markets within the Kitchener/Waterloo area, stocking the markets and taking arcuate inventories. Main duties include driving a delivery vehicle, delivering items in a timely manner, and communicating with both customers and the Unit Manager to asses any issues or requests.

Reporting to the Chef Manager, Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for operating a Cargo Van and delivering prepared food, supplies and or materials. This position may be required to load and unload cargo, operating in full adherence to Dana Hospitality safety regulations.

This is a safety sensitive position, compliance to our drug and alcohol policy is required.

**Specific Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Operate Cargo Van through all weather conditions,
- Attend pre-job Safety meetings; ensure safety and emergency equipment is in good working order; and accurately complete all required forms.
- Perform trip inspections to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order and accurately fill out all required forms.
- Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries, in a timely manner.
- Adhere to established food delivery schedules for catering events, working in an efficient, safe, and organized manner
- Deliver catering events on time, ensuring all preparation work is completed and events are set-up, delivered, and removed at the specified times
- Respond to customer and client concerns and requests
- Remain an ambassador of goodwill, ethics, and great client relations at all times on behalf of the Company
- Listens to customers (internal and external) and responds professionally to all questions and concerns, directing concerns to further levels of management as needed
- Establish and maintain effective communication with colleagues.
- Consult with supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies.
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver’s hours, and occupational health and safety.
- Maintaining cleanliness of truck and equipment.
- Maintain daily logs, inspection logs and other necessary paperwork.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class G driver’s license
- All related safety tickets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Food and Hospitality industry an asset
