**Summary**

We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join our **Vancouver Island** team. This pivotal role will focus on developing and implementing health and safety programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, ultimately promoting a safe working environment for all employees.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards.
- Provide training and resources to employees on health and safety practices.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and report on performance metrics.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Investigate incidents or accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in the construction, mining, or oil and gas industries.
- Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and regulations in British Columbia.
- Excellent communication skills for effective training and reporting.
- Ability to develop training programs and procedures tailored to various roles within the company.
- Certification in health and safety management (e.g., CRSP, CHSC) is an asset.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
