We are a small family-owned medical equipment and supplies business with a big heart. We genuinely care about our customers. Our customers are not just a number. **To be successful in this role** you will need to be able to type at least 50 Words Per Minute (WPM), speak English clearly and articulately (and sometimes loudly). Our customers are frequently elderly and expect you to be able to communicate in a way that they can understand. You will need to be able to greet people with warmth and genuine care for their wellbeing. You will need to be able to listen deeply to customer comments, needs, concerns, etc.

We are looking for a genuinely empathetic listener who deeply cares about helping people find ways to improve with helpful products.

**Bonus points** if you have experience in home medical equipment and supplies, but it's not necessary. What is absolutely necessary is that you are a genuinely caring person who is detail-orientated and can listen and analyze what the customer is saying, come up with genuine solutions, and communicate these solutions to the customer in a respectful and caring manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answering phones
- Greeting customers
- Listening to customers' needs
- Suggesting helpful products
- Closing the sale and processing paperwork, quotes, etc.
- Taking payments from customers and handling receipts
- Managing inventory and restocking the store
- Researching products and staying up-to-date with what is available
- Communicating with co-workers to ensure customers are looked after
- Making each customer feel genuinely helped and cared for

Pay: $28.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
